JASON KIDD, Dallas Mavericks Head Coach

A first ballot Hall of Fame player, Coach Jason Kidd continues to lean on 19 years of on court experiences as he works the sidelines as one of the best coaches in the NBA. His illustrious career started in Dallas as the 2nd pick of the 1994 NBA Draft and it is also where he returned in 2008 to lead a veteran group and finally in 2011 the Mavericks advanced to the Finals for the first time since 2006 to face LeBron James, Dwayne Wade and the Miami Heat. The series was a slugfest from the outset with Miami and the Mavs captured the title in 6 games.

Having hung up his jersey after 19 years and 1,549 games in the NBA he paces the sidelines and directs the team that once drafted him with his third stint with the organization. On the court he is revered. Off the court he takes immense pride in giving back and we are honored to have him as the 2022 Honorary Chair.
